How To Share Your Data Bundle (MB) on Mtn
You can't
really
transfer data
on MTN, but
you can
share your
data
subscription
with other
people.
To share MB
on the MTN
network, you
need to first
register for the MTN data sharing service. To
register, simply dial *131*2*1# or send REG to 131.
After registration, your four digit security code will be
sent to you (default is 0000).
The next step is to change the PIN code to your
personal code so that nobody would transfer mb
from your line without your permission. To change
your pin, dial the following code format
*131*2*2*OldPIN*NewPin*NewPIN#
Example: *131*2*2*0000*4526*4526#
The next step is to add people to your Beneficiary list,
that is people you would be sharing data to. You can
only add 5 numbers.
To add someone to your beneficiary list, dial
*131*2*4*1*Number*PIN# OR text ADD Number
PIN to 131
In case you want to remove someone from the list,
use *131*2*4*1*Number*PIN#
If you want to check the list dial *131*2*4*4*PIN#
Now, to share your MB to the people on your
baneficiary list, dial *131*2*4*3*PIN# OR dial
*131*2*4#
All the people on your beneficiary list will now be
able to browse using your data plan.
