So sad to hear that this guy finally died. Been following his progress since yesterday. Australian Cricketer Philip Hughes has died two days after a ball hit him in the neck during a match between his team and South wales at the Sydney Cricket Ground on 25 November 2014. Though he was wearing a helmet at the time of the freak accident, Philip collapsed and was rushed to St Vincent's Hospital, Sydney where he underwent surgery and was placed into an induced coma. He died this morning from his injuries. He was 25 years old. May his soul rest in peace, amen. Following the dwindling oil price in international market, the Central Bank of Nigeria today announced the devaluation of the Naira, pegging the Dollar to Naira exchange rate at N168 to a dollar as against the N155 it was previously. Announcing the new exchange rate at the apex bank's Monetary Policy Committee meeting in Abuja, the Central Bank Governor, Mr Godwin Emefiele said the devaluation of the Naira against the dollar is to strengthen the Nigerian currency in the face of the falling international oil price. A 24-year-old man arrested for burglary has said that he steals only on Sundays by breaking into his neighbours' homes after they had gone to their various churches in Lagos State, western Nigeria. Kelechi Ikechi, from Abia State, was arrested on Sunday after he broke into his neighbour's flat to steal in Ejigbo area of Lagos. Ikechi allegedly confessed to the police that he broke into Peter Ibeh's house at Afolabi Obe Street, Ejigbo to steal. But while carrying out the act, a trap was set for him and he was locked from outside and eventually caught. Ikechi said he resorted to stealing from his neighbours after he lost his factory job.
